“Is there a even bay and cut out for an optical drive on this case? I know even bluray is considered old school now, but I'm still running backups to DVD and buying software on Disks, not to mention digitizing any movies I collect too old for digital.”

No there isnt on this case, but i bet you could do it with an external dvd drive and USB C very easily
