3000, 4000, and 5000 series Ryzen Series CPU are supported in the Gigabyte B550 MB that this came with. How big depends on your needs (Gaming, Work, multitask, etc) Ram and GPU recommended to be upgraded if using for actual modern AAA title gaming Power Supply may require replacement depending on what you upgrade to as it is a 600w PSU. I havent needed to do so at this time after GPU, additional SSD, and Ram upgrades.
