You can add one stick of 8 gb if you can find it. As long as it has the same Cas latency. It maybe very hard to find. Also, most of time the ram work better as a pair when made together or produced together so the second option would be best and what I’d recommend.

I have done this before on another computer, so I know it works, unless Cyberpower has some peculiarity. I would try to match the specifications on the new sticks to the one already there, so they would all have the same performance. Chips have different clocking speeds.
