Thanks for reaching out. Upgrading the RAM should not be affect by the power supply. As long as you are using another 8 GB DDR3 1600MHz memory, it should work fine. The VRAM varies on the card, however your card should be 2 GB or 2000MB of VRAM. The motherboard varies by brand.
