I just went to upgrade to a 580. I need an entirely new power supply as this one doesn't have the additional 8-pin connector that is needed. They cheaped out on the power supply. Quite stupid actually. You can't install additional case fans either because of the lack of connectors.

You should be able to upgrade to the RX 580, however, there is a chance you may need to upgrade the PSU to one that has a 8-pin power supply, depending if it needs one or not.
