Can you plug an xbox into the pc itself, or does that go into the monitor?

And also if I wanted to plug in a Hard drive into one of the USB ports would the PC read it and increase the storage? Or not/

Yes, you can plug an external hard drive into one of the USB ports and increase the storage.
