“Can you plug an xbox into the pc itself, or does that go into the monitor? And also if I wanted to plug in a Hard drive into one of the USB ports would the PC read it and increase the storage? Or not/ #Thanks”

Also your external HDD may work, however, it is always recommended that you check for compatibility before making your purchase.
