This advice depends on your motherboard (Mine includes a Gigabyte - ga-ax370m-ds3h) The system has a PCI-E M.2 Slot, I would use that to put in a new SSD, they're faster, more reliable, and it can be added without removing anything. For the Ram, i would suggest buying 16gb. RAM works faster in pairs. IT's typically not recommended to mix brands. I would pull one of your installed sticks and just buy more of that. I upgraded to 4x 8GB 3200 Vengence RAM right off the bat, and I don't regret it. Well worth the $200.

Please double check your motherboard for compatibility. For the SSD, as long as it the connections for the PC, such as SATAIII or m.2, it should work fine.
