Thanks for reaching out Consoleplayer. This PC should be able to be upgraded to a GTX 1080. However, it cannot use an i7-6700k as that is a 6th Gen processor and the processor that that comes with the system is an i5-8400, which is a 8th Gen processor. They have different sockets. You can upgrade to a i7-8700k processor.
