A:AnswerI don't know BUT if it were me, I would go with a GoPro mounted on my helmet. This is what I do (did) and it made it really easy to take the camera with you instead of leaving it on the motorcycle and easy for someone to steal. Plus you can use the GoPro in a lot of other situations, too unlike something permanently mounted. AND - go with the top GoPro. I have 2 of them (older models) and yes, they work great but the newer one with the rear touch screen is the one you will wish you had if you don't buy it.
A:AnswerIf you wire it to a constant live circuit the unit goes into sleep mode when you turn of the ignition (eg park the vehicle). The unit will then begin recording if it senses any movement and it will stop recording and go into sleep mode if there is a period of time without it sensing any motion. The unit also has a battery power monitoring function that will stop the monitoring and recording functions if it senses that the car battery is being depleted.
If you wire it to a switched circuit (power when the ignition is on) the unit turns off and the monitoring and recording functions are not available.
A:AnswerHello. You don't need to buy anything else to hide the wires. Your installer or you can hide it. With that said, I do suggest you buy Rexing Smart Hardwire Kit Mini-USB Port for Rexing V1 V1P, so you can take advantage of the sensor. If someone one hits or your car moves it records.
A:AnswerThe backup camera is just a camera for the car to let you see when your in reverse. The back camera will be installed from inside the the car on the top back of the back window. Hope this answer helps, good luck.
A:AnswerI had Best Buy install my dash cam. They sold me a kit for 16.99 or so and they hardwired it so that there are no wires in the way and it’s not using up a plug
A:AnswerI had my camera hardwired in my Toyota Sequoia. It's much cleaner and doesn't tie up a cigarette lighter port. The camera comes with a hardwire harness, as well as the cigarette lighter plug. You can buy a harness on Amazon that keeps the camera running when the car is off, too. BB doesn't sell it for some reason.
Don't forget to price match the Amazon price!
A:AnswerIt cost $54 including tax to install front and rear cameras.
No, I do not have any side cameras.
BestBuy did a good job. Only took them about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
