“I have an entertainment center with a 6" high space (manufacturer said 6.25, but it's not); will the "reported" 6" high CS9040 speaker fit (i.e., is it really 6" or a little more or a little less). Thanks.”

The CS9040 is 5.95 inches high. However there is a bass radiator on top and the manufacturer recommends 1 - 2 inches of space above the speaker to ensure you get the full effect.
