“I have a CS-9040 Center Channel Speaker, I am wondering, does the light turn on in the center like the tower speakers do? Or no? Because mine does not. I constantly have to press different mode settings to get it to even send out volume.”

• The 9040 does not. Although I wished it did.

• So I’m getting too much volume… the voices are echoed and they crackle around 65DB… I am very disappointed with this speaker.

• Why does it seem like the speaker isn’t even on? I stick my head on the speaker while watching movies and can’t even tell if it works?

• Hello I’m having the same identical problems as you. I bought the q8 Samsung 4K DVD player , high grade wires for everything. Difinative tech towers and dft center speaker CS9040 and it’s not performing!! We can barely hear anything and Best Buy guys assured me it’s the Ferrari of speakers!!!
