How many extra ports are on this device? null

There is only one port. Its a mini B USB port. You receive a cable with the unit with a USB mini B connector on one end and a standard USB A on the other. One end of this cable plugs into the unit the other end of the cable plugs into your computer. The computer provides power thru the USB connection.
