• Not sure why she needs to be 8 ft from the control device she hooks it up to, but neither will have an 8 ft cord. You will have to buy an aftermarket cable to achieve this. Neither of these drives have a remote or that capability, so if you need it so far away, you might consider a traditional player if you do not need the burner functionality.
