I have used this machine once but I also turned it on before to make sure it worked , but I noticed both times a subtle burning plastic smell? Not sure if I have something in place wrong or if it’s just the machine ? null

This happened to me as well, but it went away after a few uses! When I purchased an air fryer, I experienced the same thing, but in the pamphlet it said that it’s perfectly normal and will go away. So I believe it’s the same with this espresso maker.
