Can the system be set up to play well with just two speakers? I only wanted to hook up my two Klipsch floorstanding speakers. There's barely any bass coming out. I tried adjusting the tone with bass +6 dB and there wasn't much difference. null

You can set your speaker to "large" for speakers capable of handling the bass frequencies. Default is "small." You can also change the crossover frequency. I would recommend downloading the pdf manual for the receiver, as it contains a lot if information on the myriad of options the receiver has.
