Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The subwoofer outputs on this unit have a line level output intended to drive powered subwoofers or an external amplifier and subwoofers. Most likely there are 2 connectors outputting the same signal because most power amplifiers are dual channel allowing connection of 2 separately powered speakers. The 5 internal amplifiers have a true rms rating 20Hz-20kHz of 70 watts at 0.08% THD, but only with only 2 channels driven, which tells me that they will not deliver that with all channels being used for surround, most likely because the power supply is incapable of delivering the required current. That being said, this is a decent unit for the money and weight.
