“My set up went reasonably well. BUT--I can't get my CD player to connect properly. I've tried both Media player and AUX options. The CD player is virtually new and has both analog sound and optical sound connections (NO HDMI). Any ideas?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I have an idea. Try the following; 1. Connect an optical cable from the CD player to the Receiver. 2. Run an HDMI cable from the ARC (Out) on the Receiver to the TV. 3. Select the 'TV' input on the Receiver (the TV will have to be on if you use this setup). If you don't want to go that route, try this; 1. Connect an optical cable from the CD player to the Receiver. 2. I'm not certain which Input to select on the Receiver, so you'll have to "cycle" through each one until you get sound.
