After setting up this receiver today I discovered that it does not do analog-to-HDMI video conversion, unlike its predecessor the X-3600H. Component video inputs will only be output to the component video outs, and composite video inputs will only be output to the composite video out. Only HDMI video inputs will be output to HDMI video out. So if you need analog conversion you can either add a third-party component-to-HDMI or composite-to-HDMI converter, or look at other models that have the conversion built in such as the X3600H or X4700H.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, the Denon AVR-X3700H does not do analog video conversion to HDMI. Says so under the HDMI specs on their website. Screen shot is attached. In order to get the video conversion feature you will have to go with the 4700 series receive and above.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. The receiver does have composite RCA cable inputs, an analog input, and this source can be output in either composite or HDMI.
