Hello, Yes, all of our receivers, including the AVR-X3700H support 3D video. For cables, HDMI Version 1.4 or newer will need to be in use in the chain between your 3D Video source and your TV for the transfer of the 3D Video signal to be successful. We suggest using HDMI Version 2.0 or newer for your system to be able to benefit from many of the newer features which have been made available since 3D Video was introduced. I suggest you speak with your Best Buy audio/video expert about HDMI cables made by Audioquest. Their cables have proven to be dependable with our set-ups.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The HDMI on the x3700h does support 3d pass through. So if you have a 3d capable source (dvd player/streaming device/etc.) and a 3d capable tv or projector, this unit should work without issue. I own this receiver and have a 3d setup. Here is a pic off of demons website for reference.
