“I have an old Denon AVR 4810 3 zone receiver that needs to be replaced. I have a 5.1 setup in my 8K-TV room (Zone 1), audio speakers in my dining room (Zone 2) ,audio speakers outdoors (Zone 3). I know the 3700H is only 2 zone but is there a work around?”

Yes, you could consider a HEOS amp for zone 3. This will give you the flexibility of HEOS outside, turning speakers on or off, selecting music, and adjusting the volume with your smart phone. HEOS is also built into the AVR-X3700H allowing you to link the music inside. This will free up the extra 2 channels to Bi-amp your front speakers.
