Just realized there are no analog inputs on this device; composite, component, etc., so the pass through is not an option.

No the 3800 does not have analog video inputs. Good riddance I say…it’s 2023. If you still have need of those analog inputs you can purchase an analog to HDMI converter for $15 online.
