• Yes , it can be used on hard floor as well. And it cleans up the floor very well.

• yes, I use it both on my laminate hardwood floors as well as tile and works well!

• Hi, The Quick Lite does not have a brushroll shut off, but does have a scatter guard for hard floor use. Hope this helps! -- John, Dirt Devil Customer Care
