If you get a bound version from BB, DJI states you need to provide them with the invoice and proof of purchase and they can unbound the device. To check battery cycles, you’ll need to go to camera view, About page and battery I believe. To see if the battery is a plus version, just simply read the outside of the battery. If the exterior of the battery doesn’t have “ULTRA LIGHT | 249g” it’s a plus battery. I’m site there are part numbers that differentiate them, but I don’t have that info.

Please try again later.You will next Best Buy to call DJI directly or write a letter on Best Buy letterhead stating that they own the drone and it is part of business they can't unbound it and request DJI to unbound it. I have same issue with mine but not Best Buy but with Microcenter store.
