I really haven't tried to reach over 400 feet, but I would say that it could easily reach 1500 feet. With a range of over 2800 meters in a rural setting over land. The drone is very small so you lose sight quickly and are dependent on the camera. FAA rules supposedly limit you to 400 feet altitude and line of sight. Using common sense is the best rule and don't endanger other people and property.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Technically the max altitude is 1640ft. But FAA regulations require that you stay under 400ft unless you are flying within 400ft of a tall structure in which you are allowed to fly 400ft above that structure.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Legal Max altitude for all drones is 400ft unless you are flying in or near a controlled airspace and then the max altitude will be set lower. Apps like AirMap or Kittyhawk will tell you the max allowable altitude for the exact location you are flying in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The legal Limit for a drone pilot is 400 ft but depending on what airspace your in it may be lower like 100 ft ceiling. B4UFLY app is very helpful as is AirMaps.
