you can but limited you can only go 395 ft up (because of the laws in place) but it has about a 2.5 mile range and it films awesomely if you get one get the fly more pack definitely worth the extra money and you can get filters for the camera on amazon all in all you won't go wrong it isn't required to get a license to fly because of the weight even with the filter it still remains under the weight. 0
