“Does this item's magnetic ability work with iPhone's new MagSafe feature? In other words, can I use this with an iPhone WITHOUT having to apply the magnetic sticker? Just magnetize to the back of the iphone?”

• No... The MagSafe is too weak to hold the iPhone to the gimbal securely. Any sudden or jarring movement will knock the phone of the gimbal...

• No, you would have to use the magnetic clamp instead. Oh, and it's not a sticker, it is a hefty chunk of metal.
