No, it cannot be attached to a tripod directly, It has no tripod mount screw receptacle. However, DJI has announced that an accessory will be available later that provides both a tripod and GoPro-type attachment capability.

Duct Tape. Don't laugh. Base the number of times it's on a tripod v the cost of the adapter. If you play in the bigs....it's a staple to carry duct tape with you and use it in this manner.
