when connected to phone, you will use the phones screen to view but still recording from the gimbal camera not the phone.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think so. When you attached the phone to osmo pocket, it auto activates mimo app for the gimbal. If you want to use your phone camera for zooming in and out, you will have to exit the app, and use it as the phone's build in function. Basically you can not combine the functions.
