How far does it go , before out of range null

1.2 miles in an open area with no obstructions. Never fly below takeoff altitude, as this can result in connection loss. I can speak from experience. The drone lost connection while I was flying under some cliffs that I was on top of. It did reconnect, but it can result in loss of your drone, or a crash.

If your controller is attached to your cell phone you should be able to tell but best i can tell obstructions may have an effect and your settings.

Approximately 3000 feet without a signal extender. With a signal extender approximately 5000 feet.

You can adjust the distance in the DJI app default is 6561 ft - 2000 meters and height default is 328 ft - 100 meters

2 kilometers which is about 1.2 miles
