• You can fly this out of box. The battery wont have much juice so you can give it a little charge before set up and take off

• you'd need micro USB to micro USB cable for android or micro USB to lighting cable for Apple or best experience if you are using the controller to avoid range and interference problems because phone connect to the controller using wifi by default. Also you'd need a micro SD card to record your videos
