• We recommend using a 12V 100Ah sealed lead acid AGM battery. This will nearly triple your run time.

• You could use a car battery but it is not designed for the deep cycle nature if this device. You will want to purchase a deep cycle battery for any expansion of energy storage. This type of battery will cost a little more but it will perform better and last longer.
