“starts to charge phone then stops within a minute the blue light is on showing fully charged, I plug into my phone, get a lightening bolt showing that its charging and then stops within less than a minute. no light on charger, no lightening bolt on phone. I have been trying different methods over weeks and searching online for an answer. this is a new charger and 1st time Im trying to use. I have a Samsung S5 if that matters.”

• Not sure if you have tried this yet but of course make sure that the device itself is charged fully. Also if that doesn't work, go ahead and try different cables instead of the stock cable. While it should work no harm in testing out other variables. If all else fails contact manufacturer for troubleshooting.

• It has been my experience that it will give your phone a boost at first. Then it keeps the phone charged at the same percentage, not letting the battery drain as quickly.

• We haven't had any issues with ours. Maybe you got a defective one. Try to exchange it for another one. Best buy is awesome about returns, exchanges, etc.
