It plugs into one outlet, but the second outlet will not be accessible.

Moreover, even though it has six receptacles, due to the spacing of these receptacles from each other, the different size of adaptors and other plugs, you're lucky if you can use up to four receptacles simultaneously.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is only one three prong plug for the receptacle. It is at the botton, however the device covers both outlets. There are three usb spaces at the top and 3, three prong outlets on each side giving you 6 outlets all together. It does not come with a screw to help stablize the device to the wall. It would have helped. This did not want to stay in my wall.
