• It will work on any iPhone and iPad with a Lightning connector, including the iPhone 5S. It won't work on iPad 2 since that uses an older 30-pin connector.

• This is not a charger - it is simply a cable for data or charging. The charging speed is based on the actual charger brick you use. The standard Apple charger does not qualify as a "fast charger", but there are chargers that are. But yes, this cable will work WITH a fast charger, if that is what you were asking.
