The effectiveness of this fan is suitable for both small and larger living spaces. Variables that would alter the effectiveness of this model include number of people in the room, temperature outside, etc. Best wishes, Vince

My experience has been the fan made the bedroom far more comfortable. It's a different type of airflow that feels far more cooling than a typical fan. I hope this is helpful.
