Hi Mike, this is Kelly with Dyson. When you use your HP01 in heat mode, it will go into standby mode, when your target room temperature is hit. If the room temperature falls below the target, your machine will begin to blow heated air again. Your machine it only expelling purified air when it's actively blowing out air.
