Hello Jeff, This is Miella from Dyson. The Dyson HP01 Pure Hot+Cool™ is not supported on the Dyson Link App, so scheduling is not available for this machine. The remote would be required to manually turn the machine on. Hope this helps! Miella Dyson Customer Support
