Hi John, this is Kelly with Dyson. While using the machine in heat mode, once your room reaches the target temperature you have set, the machine will stop oscillating as well as blowing heated air. Once the room temperature dips below the target temperature you have set, it'll resume operation. We hope this helps! Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Yes it does once the temperature drops then it starts again
