“I have the HP01. I'm reading about auto where the air quality is detected and runs when needed but not seeing that on my model. Does the HP01 have that? If not, am I to just let it run ask the time to filter the air?”

Hello Derek, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson HP01 Pure Hot + Cool does not have an auto mode. This mode is only available on our connected models. In order to benefit from purification, the machine does need to be turned on, either in hot or cool mode. Even at the lowest airflow setting of 1, your machine will be drawing in air from the bottom of the machine, and purifying that through the filter. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
