Hello Amy, this is Kelly with Dyson. Great question regarding the Dyson HP04 Pure Hot + Cool. The 360° sealed HEPA and activated charcoal filters are designed to remove gases and capture 99.97% of microscopic allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including bacteria, mold, odors from cooking, scented candles and car exhausts, which includes VOC's.
