Hello Morgan, this is Kelly with Dyson. You are absolutely correct with regard to the heating function in the Dyson HP04. When you set the unit to 72 degrees, for example, it will keep the machine blowing heated air, until your room temperature hits 72 degrees. Once that occurs, the machine will still be on, but won't be blowing heated air. If the room temperature falls below the target temp you've set, it will begin to blow that heated air again. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this is only a fan+heater and not an AC unit, so it cannot set a cooling temperature. It can only do that with heating, in which case it will maintain the room temperature when heater is running. Without heat on, it is effectively just a fan.
