Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. If you do not need a unit that would not produce heat, you may wish to look at our more basic Pure Cool units, which will still offer the same level of purification, but without heat. With regard to cooling, our units offer 10 airflow speed levels, but you wouldn't have the option to select a target temperature, as the units operate as fans, rather than like an AC unit that uses Freon to chill the air. For your size home, the Dyson Pure Cool tower purifier would likely provide enough coverage for your purification needs. It will help to trap pet dander, but it won't trap pet hair.
