• I was wondering the same thing and find it strange that the machine comes with a box of 3 packets, but then you can’t get more! I guess I will buy the citric acid on Amazon because we do like the machine. It works well to combat the dry air from the wood stove.

• Hi, I have this machine and the cleaning packets are indeed in there with the machine. They are just citric acid and you can buy stuff just the same on Amazon or your local stores. That’s all it is “citric acid”

• Hi Randy, this is Kelly with Dyson. The PH01 Pure Humidify + Cool will come with the humidifier, the filter, owner's manual and remote control. I'm not certain which packets you're referring to. For cleaning the machine, you can use white vinegar. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
