While the machine is in use, air is drawn in through the bottom where it's passed through the filter, and this purified air is expelled through the aperture. At a higher airflow level as more air is drawn in, more will be expelled, so you may notice that you achieve your target air quality level in higher airflow speeds.

The bigger the room, the longer the machine will take to purify it as there is more air in the room. In a room of 139ft², the tower purifier fan will purify the room in 27 minutes. In a smaller room, it will take less time to purify the air; in a bigger room, it will take longer to purify the air. If you're looking for a basic air purifier, and not interested in a machine with more bells and whistles, this is a great model for the purpose you're seeking.
