I have air conditioning in my living room, a wall unit, it only cools living room and dining area. This does exactly what I wanted for my bedroom. I no longer have to get up in the middle of the night to sleep on the couch because it's too hot in the bedroom. It does this quietly.

Air conditioning units and the Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan are two very different products that work in very different ways. An air conditioner refrigerates the air it supplies, allowing the air in the room to be made cooler than the ambient temperature outside. The Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan cools a person by moving air over and around them. The air temperature on the Dyson TP01 Pure Cool cannot be changed, but it does feature 10 airflow speeds.
