The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings. The machine and filter are not designed to trap pet hair.

A:AnswerUnfortunately unable to answer that question due to being a non-smoke. However, I will say I live in a grassy area and I notice when i use I don't cough when the grass is cut and the windows are open. Hope this helps for any other issues.
A:AnswerHello Alison, this is Kelly with Dyson. With regard to cooling, the Dyson TP01 Pure Cool Tower will provide the same 10 speeds of airflow, that the Dyson AM06 does. The biggest difference is that with the TP01 you also have the benefit of air purification.

The bigger the room, the longer the machine will take to purify it as there is more air in the atmosphere. For instance in a room of 139ft², the machine will purify the room in 25 min. In a two-bedroom condo, it would be recommended to place the purifier in a larger living space such as your living room. If you have someone in the home with allergies, you may wish to purchase a secondary unit.

The TP01 is a non-link model, which cannot connect to the Dyson Link App. The TP04 offers more in terms of a wider oscillation range, the ability to use the Dyson Link App for real-time air quality reporting, both indoors and out, and more advanced air purifying. The filtration on the TP04 is also different. On the TP01 you'll have an EVO HEPA filter, while on the TP04 it's a two-piece sealed HEPA and activated Carbon filter.

Air conditioning units and the Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan like the TP01 Pure Cool Tower, are two very different products that work in very different ways. An air conditioner refrigerates the air it supplies, allowing the air in the room to be made cooler than the ambient temperature outside. The Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan cools a person by moving air over and around them. There are ten air speed settings, but you cannot set an actual temperature on the unit itself.
