“Is this unit more energy effect than other portable heaters as far as the heating function is concerned? I am only going to use it to supplement my main heater in hope of saving money by lowering the main heater thermostat settings. ..Thanks John”

Hello John, this is Kelly with Dyson. In terms of being more energy efficient, that would ultimately depend on your price for electricity in your municipality.
