A:AnswerHello!
This is Miella from Dyson. If you happened to use the machine for 1 day and turned it off, calibration would restart. It is no problem to use the machine for one day and discontinue use for 2 weeks.
Hope this helps!

A:AnswerIt sounds like you might think this cools as in to bring down the temperature. The fan pushes the air but doesn't cool it.
Yes the fan can be set to on and will retain its speed until you change it. The option to set a temperature is in the heat mode.
A:AnswerYes, the area I put mine in gets quite dusty, but it does a very good job of cleaning the air. It heats / cools the room quickly and quietly too. I am going to buy another for a different part of the house. Just make sure to keep it clean.
A:AnswerHi there,
This is Dan with Dyson. You are correct, the machine will operate on 1.2 kW while in the max setting of the heater mode and 26 watts in the max setting on the fan mode.
Best wishes,
Dan
A:AnswerHi Mark, this is Kelly with Dyson. We don't measure our machines in terms of BTU's. While our machines do have a heating element, they're measured in watts. While in heat mode, the purpose is to provided heated, purified air in to your room. How well it heats your space would vary, depending on factors such as doors and windows, how warm the room already is, the air temperature outside, etc. With our Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ purifiers, you can set the desired air temperature all the way to 99 degrees, and you have 10 airflow speeds to choose from.
Best wishes,
Kelly
