Delta Pro can provide AC power for many appliances, but whether it can run a gas-fired furnace depends on the furnace’s electrical requirements (blower fan, ignition, controls, etc.). Most gas furnaces use several hundred watts for the fan and ignition, which the Delta Pro can usually handle. Run time for emergency use will depend on the furnace’s power draw: Example: If the furnace uses 500 W, the Delta Pro’s 3,600 Wh battery could run it for roughly 7 hours (3,600 ÷ 500 = 7.2 hours). Higher wattage units will run for proportionally less time. For safety, check your furnace’s electrical specs before connecting, and avoid exceeding the Delta Pro’s 3,600 W continuous AC output.
