Probably, assuming your class is quiet and the room isn’t too large. I would use these over any normal computer speakers for the price, but your results may vary, since you have a class full of kids. Crank the volume up, turn the bass down a bit and I think you could cut through most children’s disruption.

Yes, this is enough for the entire room which you can adjust the sound using a remote control and as if you’re in the movie theater. I’d recommend these speakers. We loved it!
